Ingredients
- 9 gallons water
- 85 oz cajun land complete
- 1 cup whole crab boil
- 1.5 cup onion powder
- 1.5 cup garlic powder
- 1.5 cup MSG
- 3/4 cup liquid crab boil
- 32 oz fresh lemon juice
- 16 oz vinegar
- 12 head garlic
- 1 head celery (big pieces)
- 20 bay leaves
- 10 lemons (slices)
- 6 onions (quartered)
Instructions
- Wash crawfish in a bin. Fill with enough water to vover fish, shakr, and drain. Repeat until water is clear. do not use salt
- Fill pot with 9 gallons of water and turn burner on.
- Add whole crab boil, powdered crab boil, MSG, lemons, bay leave, onion powder, garlic powder, vinegar, onions, garlic, and celery to pot.
- Bring to a light simmer and keep it there.
- Add potatoes. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Bring water to raging boil then add crawfish to pot.
- Add potatoes and mushrooms.
- Bring to simmer and reduce gas to maintain gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
- Turn off burner and cool crawfish by spraying outside of pot wait water for 2 minutes.
- Add corn and sausage.
- Let soak for 45-60 minutes.
